Feathered Wing Tutorial

I've been asked by a lot of people how I draw my wings. I never thought them all that great but if you'd really like to know, then here you go. This would be my first tutorial I guess so I have no idea how to go about explaining things. Forgive my strange explainations, I tried!

If it turns out you all liked this well enough, I'll throw a tut up on different flight positions of the wing. Maybe even a dragon wing tut or something?
